This week we are studying fish and preparing to consider internal and external fish anatomy.PreK-1st Grade and ElementaryMiddle and High SchoolHigh SchoolThis is a great video in that it is clear and has good diagrams, so I'm posting it here. *At the end it mentions the evolutionary relationship between structure and function. $55 with coupon from our Facebook Group. We are so excited about the Media Team that is forming at the new Firmly Planted Homeschool Resource Center! Young people have already written scripts, held auditions, and will soon be recording their scripts in our new studio! We believe that some of these productions will end up airing on Christian radio stations around the world.
Because we are trying to “jump-start” our media team, we are offering a group discount! If we can get 5 students registered for the Storytelling 101 class by this Friday, we will offer the class for $25 (+Admin Fees)! Normally it is $100! If you would like to take advantage of our “groupon”, please email back before Friday night and let us know. We’ll only register your student for the class if more than five others also register and the price drops to $25. The entry into our media team is through our Storytelling 101 class. However, this class isn’t just for young adults who want to make an audio drama, it will be a huge benefit to adults of any age that want to write a book, a short story, audio/video drama or any other tale that shares an eternal message. We would love to have your student in class! UPDATE: 5 Students have already registered! Contact Pat Roy today with questions and email Carol VanBoxtel at Carol@fpfam.org to get your student registered. In Hands on History class we step back in time to experience historical events, figures and cultures through short lessons and fun hands-on activities. Our goal is to find a love and curiosity for history through creativity and fun! In class we will have 6-week sessions where students will have an opportunity to work individually and in groups to create fun projects each week that include crafts, food and games. If you have taken this class with me before you are welcome to take it again! Some of the units may be repeats, but this is a great way to review history and get some class time.
