Glen's Hands-On Gizmos and Ochoco Christian Camp are teaming up to bring you a fabulous event! Join us on Thursday June 15th OR Friday June 16th, 2017 for an open house at Ochoco Christian Camp near Prineville, OR. Consider bringing a picnic lunch for your family to enjoy, then explore the camp together!  

This event is both education and the grand opening for this new Christian Camp.  You don't need to be homeschooling to attend.  Invite friends and family!

Open House from 11:00am to 4:00pm

• search for flora and fauna throughout the Camp
• take a family hike
• solve over 100 educational Puzzles and exhibits provided by Glen's Gizmos
• get creative with arts & crafts
• learn about microscopic life first hand
• hike around the lake
• tour the buildings
• play sand volleyball
• enjoy 9-square-in-the-air
• complete a family scavenger hunt (you may even qualify for a special prize)
• play in the Gym 
• try your luck at lawn games
• And there's a new Octoball (Gaga Ball) court!
• Relax and enjoy family time!

Frequently Asked Questions

Do parents need to attend with Kids?

• Yes, at least one adult with each family.  You are responsible for your own children the entire time.

What if we register, but have to cancel?

• Not a problem.  Please let us know by June 8th if possible. 
• If it does rain don't let that discourage you.  There are lots of undercover things to do at camp!

Why is it free?

• We want to introduce your family to Ochoco Christian Camp and believe you'll love it so much that we will see you at future Homeschool Events.

How many people can attend?

• Around 200 people or 50 families.  After the event fills we will open a waiting list, register early.

Can grandparents, aunts and uncles and friends attend this event? 

• YES!  We want to meet them too.  Please invite them.  They will need to register themselves.

Where is Ochoco Christian Camp and what should we pack?

• The Camp is near Prineville, Oregon. We will send a packing list and directions in an email after you register.
