Meet Our Teacher: Peggy Nikander

Hi Families,
My name is Peggy Nikander, I am a wife to Sean and mom to 4 kids ranging from toddler to teen. I have loved teaching since I was a child when I taught my sister and stuffed animals in my bedroom. My first involvement in education was in the public setting, I was a licensed K-8 teacher for 10 years. Following my public classroom work I homeschooled my kids for almost 5 years and plan to again soon. I am passionate about homeschooling and local history. I have been to the Fort as a teacher and visitor many times. I look forward to sharing my passion for local history and teaching with your family! |
