Homeschool Day at Camp Tilikum - 2017

COST: FREE in 2017!
Please register online by May 1st.
Registration is FREE and opens at 8:00am on April 10, 2017. 
Space is limited.  We can register 250 participants each week.  Once a week fills the registration system will let you know.
Join us on Wednesday May 3rd OR Thursday May 4th, 2017 for an open house at Camp Tilikum near Newberg, OR. Consider bringing a picnic lunch for your family to eat in the Meadow or Fawver Center, then explore the camp together!

Open House from 11:00am to 4:00pm
  • meet the barn animals
  • hunt for a few rogue eggs left over from Easter (don't worry they are actually fresh!)
  • play at the tree house
  • solve educational Puzzles (Glen's Gizmos)
  • Learn about tardigrades and other microscopic life with Joel in the Valley View School House.
  • hike across the bridge
  • tour the Retreat Center
  • go canoeing (open from 1-3pm)
  • try your luck fishing (private lake - no license required!)

Frequently Asked Questions

Do parents need to attend with Kids?
  • Yes, at least one adult with each family.  You are responsible for your own children the entire time.
What if we register, but have to cancel?
  • Not a problem.  Please let us know by May 1st if possible. 
  • If it does rain don't let that discourage you.  There are lots of undercover things to do at camp!
Why is it free? How many people can attend?
  • Around 250 people or 50 families.  After the event fills we will open a waiting list, register early.
Can grandparents, aunts and uncles and friends attend this event? 
  • YES!  We want to meet them too.  Please invite them.  They will need to register themselves separate of your family as their own household.
